Artsy Queen of Advertising Takes on Texas State

Olivia poses as she snowboards in Colorado.

Olivia Chuber, a nineteen-year-old sophomore at Texas State University, is a charming, humble and creative individual who is actively involved on campus, with her family, and in life as a whole. Majoring in Advertising and minoring in Art, her passions for both coincide and allows her to hone her creative abilities now and in the future as she progresses towards her desired career.

Originally from the San Antonio area, Chuber attended Smithson Valley High School, she discovered her interests early on. Stemming from her love of both writing and drawing, she filled me on the children’s book she wrote and published during her adolescence. Winning 1st at a convention due to the success, she learned she could take these passions far.

On campus, she’s an active member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, is a member of the TXST Wake team and is also on the intermural tennis team! She enjoys watching movies and The Bachelor with her sorority sisters and holds her organizations near to her heart. Just from speaking with her, the love she has for her university shined.

Along with her many passions and involvement, she holds her family life close. She has one older brother, Bruce, and an older cousin, Malarie, who both attend Texas State. She’s visited Colorado with her family many times, trying her aim at both skiing and snowboarding, along with many other outdoor activities. She often brings along her thirteen-year-old Labrador, Mia! Overall, getting to know Olivia more was an absolute pleasure!
